The Ambassador XL incorporates a proprietary 210mm (8") woofer mounted in the side of the cabinet. This driver provides the flexibility and bass performance which is often called for in A/V applications. Providing extension below 30Hz in typical rooms, the Ambassador XL is the ideal entry level loudspeaker for the more serious audio and A/V enthusiast. The crossover is a first order type which provides smooth and flat phase and amplitude response. Equipped with gold plated precision terminals and wired throughout with heavy gauge low loss silver plated cable, it is suited for bi-wiring or passive bi-amplification.

A three way four driver design, the Ambassador XL is a remarkable
loudspeaker. The drivers are of a high quality fibre construction utilising high
temperature aluminium voice coils and magnesium chassis. The tweeter is a fabric dome made
from a proprietary material called Sonotex. Its voice coil is wound with pure silver wire.
Treated with acoustic absorbent felt, the tweeter is time collimated.
