 The Duntech Statesman combines elegant layout with the astonishing life-like
sound for which Duntech loudspeakers are world renowned. Created entirely at our
Australian facility, it brings to the respected Classic Series a mid-priced loudspeaker
with all of the quality, precision and performance characteristics synonymous with the
Duntech name. The Statesman produces an extended, superbly balanced response with
extremely tight and tuneful bass, a very fast and resolving midrange and clear extended
treble with  sound staging and imaging which is as close to "being there" as any
loudspeaker system could wish to achieve. Hand crafted from the finest Australian or
Imported timbers, the stylish design will complement many decors. The Statesman is an
extremely revealing and refined loudspeaker which pushes the barrier for high quality
sound reproduction and holds its place in the series as a real Classic.
 The Duntech Statesman is a three driver, two way design incorporating
extremely high quality drive units. These unique drivers employ composite fibre cone
technology. Solid copper phase plug and heavy copper rings are used throughout the magnet
assembly. These features correct and account for non-linear distortion and increase the
power handling of the driver. Gold plated connections and a special high purity magnesium
chassis are also incorporated to make the Statesman a loudspeaker of especially low
distortion and uncanny realism.
The high resolution aluminium dome tweeter backed by a tuned chamber and treated with
acoustic absorbent felt, is time collimated. The hand assembled crossover is a first order
type which provides smooth and flat phase and amplitude response. Equipped with gold
plated precision terminals and wired throughout with heavy gauge low loss silver plated
cable, the Statesman is suited for bi-wiring or passive bi-amplification.
